I am still learning how to do SEO. Here some techniques I know:

• Make sure your main index page is content rich with text, links and images. 
  
• Use keyword 5 - 10 times in the content.
  
• Use the link on your keyword.
  
• Use the title tag at all times.
  
• Choose a main keyword and then think of 5-10 keyword modifiers.
  
• Make your content and backlinks look natural. Write for your visitors, not the search engines.
  
• Use BOLD and ITALIC on your keyword.
  
• Link to others and they'll link back to you.
  
• Keep your content fresh.
  
• Write something, and then take the time to distribute, distribute, distribute it.
  
• Add metadata to the posts to help search engines find the content.
